Portrait photography—analog outtake Salton Sea

Mamiya 6/Tri-x 400
As a lifestyle photographer, it’s a real privilege to travel with your work. Sometimes it’s just round the North Circular, oh how I hate the North circular! Sometimes though it’s much further afield. I’ve been fortunate enough to work in some incredible places and meet some of the most inspiring people on my photography travels.
It’s not often you get the time or the freedom to carry on with traveling after a shoot. Thankfully when it does happen you get to spend some quality time in the strangest of places. After a lot of hard work on a job my wife and I took a break in Palm Springs and traveled around Salton Sea. It's the weirdest of places with a colourful history. A barren but quite beautiful place. I shot of few rolls of black and white film on my Mamiya 6 and this is one of my favourites from the trip.
