Fashion photography—Lyle & Scott

Nikon F4/Agfa Vista 200
Working directly with Lyle & Scott was a lot of fun. It was really great to work with a fashion brand looking for more interesting moments and storytelling for their brand, they wanted the models to bring a character to life and not just be a clothes horse as often can be the case. To push the brand in a slightly different direction they wanted to work with a lifestyle photographer, not just a fashion photographer. It was amazing to be selected and get involved with such an iconic brand.
Coaching the best out of talent is something that I love to do. Sometimes this just ends up outside a pub with a bag of chips being thrown in my direction—happily snapping away and loving the creative process. This summer campaign was mostly shot digitally and was a lot of fun to shoot. I did manage to shoot a few rolls of film too to add an extra level of texture to the job. Happy days.
